SCOPE
The scope of this workshop will be to study the potentialities of using "computer-assisted collaborative work" (CSCW) during the urban planning processes. Named also groupware, this set of computer- and network-based technologies allows several users to work together for the same goal, being located in different sites and working with different rhythms. This workshop will convene researchers in urban planning and in computing, in order to examine experiences, to share ideas and to launch a research program in this domain (plan, schedule, etc.). Among the problems to examine, let us mention:
The best papers (title in red) are published by the journal Computer, Environment and Urban Studies, July 1998, Volume 22, Number 4.
